Practice Drills #1:

New style of post.

I research other traders I like and take notes.

I watch webinar recordings, read their books, videos, whatever I can find.

Then I use those notes as my homework for the day.

So for each item I will do a certain # of charts or # minutes (ie 5.)

This helps build skills and keeps it fresh everyday.

As a newer trader, start with 1 item and do about 20 charts.

Then when you get better at it without getting a headache 🙂 you can add more stuff.

Todays listing of ideas for research

  1. Use 1/2 initial risk as a target
  2. Using ABR for scalping targets and 1/2 ABR for counter trend targets
  3. Clarity means pullback soon.
  4. % of the bar <> the MA tells you the scalp direction at the close of that bar
  5. Trend then TTR -> likely trend resumption
  6. Type and location of the reversal bar to the MA (BR < MA vs BR > MA)
  7. Far > MA, but not far > Avg quality = means low quality product
  8. Is this leg non-climactic enough for a good entry?
  9. S > BR MC should get one bar
  10. Time of day and reversals – ie 10:30 – 11
  11. BSB then PB – BL scalp the PB, BR trade the 2nd leg
  12. Tight BL CH, so all shorts low %
  13. Use Opening gap as the BO MM target
