Quick one today. I’ve set up a public GitHub for Zen Trading Tech, and I want you to know it’s there.

What’s on there
Three folders at the moment:
- Indicators — free TradingView Pine Script indicators with a README for each one. First one up is the Zen OOH / OOL indicator that flags shaved opening bars, which ties in with today’s other post on open-on-high / open-on-low.
- Data — OHLC and indicator-tagged datasets for ES, FDAX, HSI and Nikkei futures. Build your own studies, run your own backtests, check my numbers. Coming soon.
- Research — quantitative studies organised by instrument. This is where published work will land as I roll it out. I will water them down a bit to make it easier to apply and build strategies out of. Helping traders aproach this themselves with confidence.
Why
Same reason as always. Data beats opinion. If I’m going to publish a study that says “X happens 72% of the time”, you should be able to pull the data and see it for yourself. The indicators are there so you can drop them straight onto your own charts and poke at them. Everything is free to use, MIT license on the code, attribution on the data.
I’ll be adding to it steadily — new indicators as I build them, new datasets as I clean them up, new research as it gets published. If you want to follow along, give the repo a star on GitHub and you’ll see updates in your feed.
Happy trading!
Tim
